RonaldCheck out my abounding analysis @ Rating: B- MAYDAY knows absolutely what it wants to be: a fun, discreet '80s bequest agitated about absolutely by the allure amid its two leads. Kenneth Branagh is the absolute standout, abrupt and accidentally funny, while Ryan Reynolds keeps his accepted instincts accurately in check. The activity is aciculate and the pacing brisk, but the blur takes aught risks — anticipated from alpha to finish, with arrested ancillary characters and a Cold War accomplishments that never amounts to much. Still, a solid, absorbing watch.
